#HeyWestminster! is proud to share that Tryvent has been selected as our second Kahlert Foundation grant recipient for 2021.

The Partnership for a Healthier Carroll County will host TryVent 2021 on Sunday, September 12th in Westminster City Park. A one-day celebration of wellness, Tryvent will bring together community health and fitness groups, including the Westminster Recreation & Parks Department, to provide opportunities to move and try various physical activities.

Through this Hey Westminster! grant, Tryvent will receive $5,000 to fund the event.

A highly-respected philanthropic organization with deep local roots, the Kahlert Foundation will award grants to nonprofit applicants selected by the Hey Westminster! trustees over the coming year.

For consideration for a future Hey Westminster!/Kahlert Foundation funding opportunity, applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and submit through heywestminster.com/apply. Projects should focus on doing new and exciting work in Westminster; education, healthcare, youth programs, veteran support, and human services are prioritized.
