Plexi Cosplay–grant recipient for August, 2024

Plexi Cosplay is an award-winning cosplayer right here in Westminster whose goal is to continue raising the bar for cosplay and prop creation as well as support the cosplay community at large. Plexi educates cosplayers through tutorials, judging, blogging, hosting panels and workshops, and more.

Candace, the creator of Plexi Cosplay has been featured in the Carroll County Times and has won national and international awards for her cosplay. Today, she works with The Hacksmithas well as gaming companies to create custom costumes.

She is also the manager of Exploration Commons at 50 Eastwhere she teaches others how to utilize digital design, fabrication technologies and spends her days teaching others how to do what she loves to do in her spare time! Candace goes on to say, “It’s almost like I have two fulltime jobs, but I love working with the community.”
