This is something to smile about! Help us congratulate our June Hey Westminster grant recipient: Kids World of Smiles.
Kids World of Smiles is a non-profit 501c3 dental office that strives to provide a stable dental home to provide regular dental care to children and now adults in the community who otherwise would not have access to consistent quality care. They strive to help individuals obtain good dental health which leads to good physical health!
Dr. Galinatis shares, “Children who are suffering with rampant dental decay miss school, have poor nutrition and frequent urgent care or hospital visits. Our goal is to treat decay early before it leads to tooth loss, infection and illness. However, many services are not covered or have to wait for insurance timelines risking tooth loss and infection as parents can not pay for services not covered by Medicaid.”
We had a BIG surprise for Kids World of Smiles… The Hey Westminster was able to partner with The Kahlert Foundation and surprise Dr. Galinaitis and KWS with a grant of $5,000 !!! Help us spread the word of this awesome non-profit in our community!
